"The purpose of the storyteller is not to tell you what to think, but to give you the questions to think upon." - The Way of Kings
I have learned, on the short time I have been on this planet, that stories are all we have to teach empathy, compassion, how to laugh and how to love. I began my work as an actor on a Seattle stage at age 7. My education as a storyteller continued at the University of Washington School of Dramatic Arts and after college when I traveled the country and lived out of a jeep. I made it to LA and dove into classes and collaboration.
I am always creating content. Currently working on a final draft of a comedy feature with a writing partner and the first draft of an indie dramedy. From the Gut Creations, co-founded by me, is writing the feature film version of our award winning play, Villain. Click the "From the Gut Creations" tab at the top of the screen to learn more about Villain.
While living in LA I have written and produced two stage plays - an evening of one acts and an award winning drama. I have co-founded three different production companies: Girls on Top Productions (all female sketch comedy), Congress Films (a short film collective) and From the Gut Creations (a play & film production house). With these companies, I have been a writer, an artistic director, an actor, an assistant director, and a producer. Many of the films I have been a part of have played at festivals and won awards.
I joined the SAG-AFTRA union in 2016 and have had the opportunity to act on such shows as Criminal Minds (CBS), The O.A. (Netflix) and The Young & The Restless (CBS).
